Portrait Session Consent Form

This agreement is between the client booking the photography session (herein after referred to as the "Client") and Helen Boyd Photography (herein after reffered to as the "Photographer").

General Information

When you buy an item or service from Helen Boyd Photography the following Terms & Conditions apply.

These terms do not affect your statutory rights under English Law.

Your contract for purchases made through Helen Boyd Photography you undertake that all goods ordered by you are for your own private and domestic use only and are not for publication or re-sale.

​

You warrant that all details you provide for the purpose of ordering or purchasing goods are true, accurate, current and complete in all respects; and that the credit or debit card or cheque book you are using is your own and that there are sufficient funds in your account to cover payment of the product(s) ordered.

You warrant that you are buying pictures of yourself or of your own friends and family, and that where you are not the subject, or parent or guardian of the subject, that you have the subject or the subject’s legal parent or guardian’s consent to do so. In addition, you warrant that there is no moral or legal reason why you should not be viewing or purchasing the pictures.

You agree that you are happy for us to use email and text as the primary means of communicating with you.

Copyright

Helen Boyd Photography owns the copyright in all the pictures it takes, except where copyright in a picture, or set of pictures, is specifically re-assigned in a written agreement. Unauthorised reproduction of any images without permission is strictly prohibited.

Customers who buy JPEGS will be granted permission to use these in any way they choose, provided it is solely for their own personal use. This permission specifically excludes the use of these images for any business or commercial purposes or for publication or broadcast without separate and specific consent.

These terms are covered in and supported by the Copyright Designs and Patents Act 1988

​

Retouching

For most items our standard practice is to automatically re-touch all ordered images before printing.

This will automatically include:

> Colour corrections

> Exposure adjustments

> If within a studio the cleaning of all backgrounds and floors

​

If you would like further re-touching (e.g. cleaning up dirty marks on clothing or skin, removing stray hairs etc) please make a specific request at the time of ordering. Most requests can be accommodated at no additional charge, but we reserve the right to make a charge if extensive retouching is requested. As and when this is deemed necessary a cost will be quoted for your approval before the work is carried out.
